Tim Anderson is the man behind the creative
dishes offered at Iven's on the Bay. Over
the years, Tim has accumulated various awards
and accolades, including Food and Wine
Magazine's "Top 10 Best New Chefs", Gault
Millau "Top 15 Chefs in America" and the James
Beard Society "Rising Star Chef Award".In
1978, Tim met Swiss Chef Hans Walder in Aspen
where they worked together in the then mostly
European influenced fine dining and hotel
business. Over the next several years, Tim
held various corporate and consulting positions
for different chain restaurants in several
cities throughout the US.
In 1983, Tim's next venture was to pair up
with soon to be "superstar" Chef Stephen Pyles
in Dallas. Over the next nine years Tim,
Stephen and John Dayton opened Routh Street Café,
Baby Routh (both in Dallas) and Goodfellows and
Tejas in Minneapolis.
Tim worked with local farmers in his ventures as
Executive Chef at Napa Valley Grille where he
dazzled the diners by using the finest foods of
the Midwest prepared in the California style.
Iven's is fortunate to have Tim heading up
