The “Lighten Up” selection is Broiled Walleye and Shrimp Bruschetta with lo fat mozzarella, olives and herbs. Fresh, local vegetables are being added daily bringing “Farm to Plate”.

Now is the time to enjoy local heirloom tomatoes. In addition to our Caprese Salad, look for them on our Caprese Pizza, Bruschetta and new pasta dish, Pappardelle with herbs, mozzarella, parmesan cheese and heirloom tomatoes.

In September, the 6-7 PM “Martini Bar” deals feature Minnesota beer and spirit products. Two for the price of one on Summit and Schell beer and two for one on any cocktail prepared with Shakers Rye Vodka. Happy Hour is every night from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in our “Martini Bar” and on our lakeside deck.
 

Fall Hours:
We will be closed on Sunday, September 26 in order to “appreciate” our great staff and closed Monday and Tuesday of that week. Wednesday, September 29 begins our fall hours of Wednesday thru Saturday. The “Martini Bar” will continue to open at 4PM to 6PM for Happy Hour and Early Bird Specials from 4PM to 7PM. The Dining Room will open at 5PM for “fine service” and “casual dining”.

Wine of the Month:
Our wine of the month for September is Chateanuef de Pape, from Barton & Guestier winery, which has set the “benchmark” for French wines for almost three centuries. This wine has a bright cherry red colour with purple highlights. The bouquet of spicy flavour is reminiscent of wild herbs with fruit overtones. Enjoy a glass tonight!

Ladies Night Out:
The kids are back to school, and the “running” never ends. So, why not come and join local radio celebrity, Tess Taylor, from the WJJY Morning Show on Thursday, September 9th for great food and drink specials in the “Martini Bar” from 5PM to 7PM.

Iven’s on the Bay Catering:
Time to look ahead and schedule your holiday party at Iven’s or the location of your choice. If your event is on the calendar by November 15, we will waive any bartender fee and give you an Iven’s Gift Card to use in the restaurant.

Iven’s Liquors:
We are having an “End of the Summer Blowout” during September featuring a variety of different beers. Selections will change weekly, as our vendors “mark down” their product. Cruzan Rum, including banana, black cherry citrus, gava and raspberry flavors, is priced right at $10.99. Budweiser, Coors and Miller 24-can cases are at our great “everyday” price of $15.99.
