Valentine's Day 2012!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner
and Iven’s is prepared to make it a “Special
Night” for all! Starting Saturday, February 11th
and Tuesday, February, the kitchen will be
offering several specials (including Prime Rib,
Surf & Turf, Porterhouse for Two and Chocolate
Fudge Layer Cake) as well as favorites from our
regular menu.
Specials, favorites from our menu and a
“7-Course Tasting Menu” at $100 per couple (tax
and gratuity not included) will be available on
Saturday, February 11th. The Tasting Menu will
be offered in our Lakeview Room and feature the
following:
Lobster Cake with mustard aioli
Tomato Fennel Bisque with crab gremolata
Grilled Hearts of Romaine with preserved
lemon vinaigrette in a parmesan crisp
Lemon Thyme Sorbet
Asiago Encrusted Red Snapper
Roasted Tenderloin of Beef
Chocolate Mousse
Bottle of House Wine
Strolling vocalists will make it a “Night to
Remember” whether you celebrate with us on
Saturday or Tuesday! Make your reservation for

February and the start of Mardi Gras!
Officially Mardi Gras begins Tuesday, February
21, but our Chef Tim will be serving the
following “complete meal” throughout the month
of February:
Spinach-Arugula Salad
with shrimp, crayfish, warm pecan
vinaigrette
Shrimp, Duck Sausage, Seafood Jambalaya
with Cajun cornbread
Black Bottom Pecan Pie
with molasses ice cream
Glass of Wine
Join us on Wednesdays for $5 Burger Night,
on Fridays for Iven’s Cioppino and a different
“Chef’s Choice” every Saturday Night.
Ladies Night Out:
Tess Taylor will be joined with Becky from
Caribbean Beach Tanning Salon for “Ladies Night
Out” on Thursday, February 9th. Becky will bring
wonderful tanning packages and products for Tess
to give away. Enjoy good friends, food and the
warmth of our fireplace in the “Martini Bar”
with Tess and Becky from 5-7PM!
Wine of the Month:
This month’s wine is
from Portugal. “Cabeca de Toiro” is a
full-bodied red with exceptional aromas of
blackberry, blueberry and rosemary and has a
fruity flavor. Pair with one of our steaks or
feathered game entrees at $6 for a 5-ounce pour,
$9.50 for an 8-ounce pour or $30/bottle.

The “7-Course Tasting Menu” on Saturday,
February 11th will be available in our Lakeview
Room. Enjoy the warmth of our fireplace and
idyllic views of beautiful North Long Lake.
